Mobile Content Bits: CNBC; Unilever; Loopt; ShoZu; SI; Quattro

NYSE Real-Time Quotes Go Mobile: CNBC has launched a new service that provides real-time quotes for NYSE-traded stocks on CNBC Mobile and CNBC.com. The business broadcaster is using the NYSE’s “NYSE Realtime Stock Prices” feed to power their service. Earlier this month, CNBC rolled out real-time quotes for NASDAQ-traded shares.

Unilever Launches Mobile Site For Brand: Unilever in the UK has launched its first dedicated mobile site for one of its brands, reports Marketing Week. Consumers will be able to go to Potnoodle.mobi to get branded entertainment content—including ringtones and wallpapers--for Pot Noodle, an instant noodle soup. The site launched this week, and is being sponsored by UK tabloid The Sun, with videos sent via Bluetooth at Cineworld and Vue movie theaters.

Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Gets Loopt: Verizon has struck a distribution deal with social mapping provider Loopt. The LBS service, which must be downloaded to a customer’s phone, is now available on select phones for $3.99 a month (release).

ShoZu Integrates Nine More Communities: Mobile social media services provider ShoZu added nine additional online communities to the list of sites it can connect users to, including photo site Snapfish; Nokia’s Ovi; mobile photo sharing service SnapMyLife; AOL’s BlueString media sharing and Xdrive file storage sites; photo/video sharing communities DivShare and Smugmug; web creation and hosting site Free Webs; and citizen journalism site Reuters You Witness News (release).

Sports Illustrated Goes Off-Deck: Sports Illustrated has rolled out a new off-deck, ad-funded mobile web site. The site is being powered by Crisp Wireless, which will also help manage the ad sales on the site (release).

Quattro Adds Sites To Ad Network: Quattro Wireless has signed deals to add a variety of leading entertainment sites to its fast-growing premier mobile Ad Network, including Cracked.com, Savvy.com, CBS Interactive’s (NYSE: CBS) TheInsider.com, Fandango.com, Hollywood.com, JoBlo.com and MovieWeb.com. Quattro will deliver mobile ads for the sites (release).
